nah it looks more like a studio equipment than a 'live' mixer.

not very user friendly imo.

i wanna know, when him and john are playing b2b, how does he sync the ableton tune with digger's cdj? is there a time clock or something?

Ya but that's more so a live performance mixer than a b2b track DJ mixer.

I'm sure one of the faders on Maven is linked to the project tempo in Ableton.

there's a tool available to sync Ableton with cdj's via a midi clock thingie I think
My mate has had one for a year now and he loves mixing like that, it works perfectly
Ill ask him what it was called again

the monodeck is a midi controller built for ableton.
what monolake does with it, its up to him, sashas controller can do the same things, even my bcr2000 can do the same things.
just dont get over excited with something because its sasha's
zabiela is using the evolution controllers and does a better job than sasha :P
