Well the unhelpful answer is to listen to any genre of music on its own terms. Don't bring an electronic perspective to jazz or soul or whatever. I've found that a lot of people don't like other music because it doesn't fulfill their expectations. It's almost as though people have a mental checklist that music must tick off if it's to appeal to them.
Really, electronic music has touched so many other styles that someone who listens to a wide variety of it should already like a lot of principals of other genres. Given that the only parameter for electronic music is that it is primarily electronic in foundation, there's already been a huge amount of inter-genre pollination.
If you take away things you like about various genres that are electronic in source, there should still be things left. Appreciation of good rhythm, good melody. Energy, aggression, soul, evocation. You can find all of them in other music. If you like sweeping, epic electronic music you can find the same properties in film scores, which leads into classical. If you like the rhythm of good breaks, you can find it in funk, where it came from. If you appreciate good, memorable hooks, rock and pop are overflowing with them.
