I love French house, older Daft Punk, the Crydamoure stuff, Roule. have you seen Daft Punk live? They put some new vocals over a dub of Music Sounds Better With You, wish they would have just played the regular damn song Ahh, Motorbass, Cassius is off the hook... Olav Basoski would you call him French house? I loved his stuff, straight up bangin boom chik boom chik... man who else?
And yeah D.A.N.C.E. is totally influenced by them, it's a pretty good song that girl's voice kinda breaks a little bit, I love it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dave Armstrong or Young Punx yet. Really good French House producers IMO.
Stevieboy: Thanks for those samples. There are a couple of new additions to my "want" list after hearing some of those...

not new vocals, vocals are actually from Together aka Thomas Bangalter & Dj Falcon - Together, sorry if I ruined it for you..
Ian Pooley made pure Tech-House at least back in the day. Yes he used the "filter" but he was in no way "disco" like the Daft Punk (well he had some collaborations with some other artists which ended in more "Funky/Disco" house).
