Listen to jungle music!

When I feel depressed, I always try and escape the city. I was feeling like shit last weekend and took the bus back home (near Algonquin Park). I am and always will be a country girl, so being surrounded by nature again gave me a feeling of peace. Haha, I can't even explain it. By the time I came back to Toronto, I felt rejuvenated. =)

Hi Kamka,

You don't need to pay money to exercise. A great way to feel better is to put on some good music of your choice (house for me, trance for others, or whatever your preference is) on your ipod and go for a jog outside somewhere nice. I usually go jog near my house, or somewhere in the park. You will feel so much better! You could even go to sauna after. Most gyms offer trial passes, so you can go for free, and they usually don't even check it, so you can use it multiple times. After that, take a nice refreshing bath and read a good book:P Trust me, this really works...Hope you feel better!

BTW, I am usually willing to listen if someone wants to vent!

XOXOXOX

I think this thread is proof enough that there are many solutions to your problem. Everyone has their own comfort zone and resort to different things to feel better after a long hard stressful day. I think the most important thing for you to do is look into what makes you happy, the things you like and treat yourself good when you're feeling down.

Some people resort to self medication to cure their ails, hell everyone has their own vice. However, it goes without saying that relying on your vice can lead down roads that can just make you feel worse.

Having a positive mind set is essential to any positive outcome.

if you have trouble falling asleep after a hard day, try taking a small dose of melatonin. it's not a drug but will help induce longer periods of deeper sleep.

Hi, I just wanna say thank you to all of those who have took the time to write to me and give me suggestions. I actually wanted to reply yesterday, because I appreciate and value all your input, but I didn't get a chance to during the day and in the late evening I was so tired that I just went to bed. I felt better yesterday and this morning and then when I got home today, I just went back to feeling like shit... I think my home environment has a lot to do with it, unfortunately. If u guys don't mind, I'll write some more later in reply to your individuals posts... At least the good thing is that hopefully, in addition to me, this thread can help anyone else who's feeling horrible and needs suggestions on how to manage it...

Thankx a lot... Bye~~
