I'm gonna guess SCUM is the 1 person who agrees with Michael Savage 100% of the time. I find it pathetic that anyone would base their worldview on a radio show host. I would consider myself generally conservative, but SCUM seems to be far far right. People who are so radical usually don't argue based on any evidence. They just slander the opposing viewpoints, such as Michael Savage's belief that all liberalism is a mental disorder. There are many parts of liberalism I don't like, but I don't consider the majority of liberals mentally insane.
I learned a long time ago in debate or ethics, something like that, that when argueing, you should always consider what the opposing viewpoint is. Where are they coming from? Why are they making the arguement? From there, I am better able to analyze their arguement, and thus come up with my own arguement to refute the opposing viewpoint. This is something SCUM needs to learn, because ad hominems are not intellectual arguements. SCUM, you will be banned if you continue to use ad hominem attacks. If you have an arguement, state in a coherent and understandable fassion, because name calling, slants, and slander are not tolerated here.
Read the rules, HERE
Think for yourself and don't let the right wing radio indoctrinate you. I consider myself a right winger, conservative, but I still think for myself, and I regularly disagree with what Michael Savage, Hannity, and a few radio hosts have to say, but I agree at the same time with a lot of stuff. I never let their rants though influence what I myself think. I particularly like the Dennis Miller radio show, he is a rational, moderate kind of conservative. I used to be a Michael Savage conservative too, until the Iraq war woke me up out of my closed mindedness, and I realized that conservatives aren't perfect either. And that's when I began examining BOTH sides of the issues at hand, and not just look at them through one side. That trully is blinding yourself. SCUM, be a conservative, but don't be an asshole, mindfucked by right wing radio, conservative. Have an open mind, and if you really want to debate, debate with intellectual arguements, and stop with the ad hominem BS..
