Anyways, Latendresse is a big guy, not supposed to be the speedy gonzalez, and imo he's essentially at the right place, just a 4th line dude, 3rd if he shakes up. |
dude...what the hell are you talking about? Why would I even be a Montreal fan if I hated French Canadians?
I was just commenting on the fact that the Habs' French players are all on the 4th line (Lapierre, Latendresse, Begin, etc), while it's a European dominated offense the last few seasons. In fact, Europeans (and a few key Americans) dominate the Habs' roster...but whatever, they're a good team and nobody should care (sometimes the Montreal press bitches about this though)
I'd like to see a guy like Lecavalier come to Montreal where he'd be a God. But none of the premiere French players seem to want to play in Montreal anymore for whatever reason (money, pressure...case in point, Daniel Briere).
So anyway Malek you took it the wrong way. I've always felt that Montreal is Canada's team and it's too bad there isn't a French Canadian hero on the roster these days (like Carbo, Damphousse, etc) but if we keep winning, who cares right?
