Good 2 C Tiesto dropped a good set, that is truly an occasion nowadays.
That partial TL looks decent. I 4 1 would rather hear him bang it out anyday over the progressive/commercial trancelite and Tiesto's greatest hits crap he has played @ Mansion recently

Hit...wow! Unreal, I've seen Tiesto many times and I would agree that he's hit or miss in venues such as these. This was great. First of all let me tell you what he didn't play:
Tiesto - Traffic
Tiesto - Adagio for Strings
Tiesto - Love Comes Again
Tiesto - In The Dark
What he did play:
Tiesto - Ten Seconds Before Sunrise
Glenn Morrison and Deadmau5 - Contact (W/Vocals)
Tiesto ft. Jes - Everything (Cosmic Gate mix)
Deadmau5 - Arguru
Marcus Schössow - Chase My Rabbit
Maor Levi - Reflect
Tiesto - Bright morning star
Artic Quest - Strings and Guitars
Carl B - Deliverance
Help me out.
No cheese, straight up bangin...great show. |
Thats a real interesting selection, considering half the ISOS tracks you listed were confirmed as 100% unplayed!
Here is what another person @ the event produced at tiestotracklists:
-- Glenn Morrison – Contact (w/ Lange “Don’t Think It Feel It” Accappella)
-- Tiësto ft. Jes – Everything (Cosmic Gate Remix)
-- Deadmau5 – Not Exactly
-- First State ft. Anita Kelsey – Falling
-- Tiësto – Elements Of Life
-- Gareth Emery – More Than Anything (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
-- Cold Blue & Del Mar – 11 Days (Sebastian Brandt Remix)
-- Simon Patterson - Bulldozer
-- Jedidja – Dancing Water
-- D’Alt Vila - Breathing
-- Arctic Quest – Strings & Guitars
Considering the show is running 01:00 - 03:10... thats not a bad effort.
p.s. could you confirm Carl B - Deliverance was dropped? He's definitely got it in the bag at the minute, just wondering how you could spot such a brand new tune.

It was a good show. There were some moments like when he dropped this track early in the set:
Marc Marzenit - Trozitos De Navidad (Primavera Remix)
The crowd went nuts! He also started playing techy around 2 am and that was bangin as well. Aside from the tracks already posted, there are several other unknowns I wish I knew the name of.
Overall I came out a happy man. I enjoyed the show, the vip, atmosphere and everything. Yeah it was packed, but I never mind that. I think my soaking wet shirt can speak for the fun time I had last night, lol.

Tiesto tore it up in my opinion. Had a great time and heard great music. It was my fourth time seeing him and it was the best set since WMC 2004 at Space. Good stuuf. The only crappy thing was the ventilation in that place. They should just open the roof, put in some palm trees, and call it a pool party. jk. Awesome times...

Ehhhhhhh.
Nothing special. Underground is a horrible venue, and the staff there is fucking incredibly stupid. They have the willcall line and the people buying tickets there in the same line? Nice one.
Tiesto didn't do as shitty I as expected, being his cd release party and all, but he didn't "bang it out" as others have suggested.
Also, any DJ that doesn't have the respect to do an encore when people are begging for it for 10 min is fucking selfish. Even if Underground closed at 3, he shoulda ended his set early to do an encore.
:P

It sounds like Underground hasn't changed one bit. I'm glad everyone at least had a decent time. |
True true.
The only good thing about the place is the sound system, and it only sounds really good if you are up close. Yeah drinks were WAY overpriced for Tampa, even Floyd's has drink specials, Underground had none. Water was the same price as a beer, etc.
Also, the first tracklist is horribly wrong. He never played Chase my Rabbit...or a couple of the others listed even.

Nail on head. That's why I thought it was a good show instead of very good or great. Last night reminded me of PVD at Firestone in Orlando who also did not impress me much. He was bangin' a little bit, but not consistent.
