In Linux-nerd-talk, "easier" translates into "easier once you know the exact series of commands that will do what you want to do". The difference with Windows is that most users can figure out by themselves how to do TaskA. With Linux, figuring out how to do TaskA involves a hefty amount of googling, and sifting through half-assed answers in Linux forums.
You know you can play tetris and use a pretty decent variety of applications while you install linux ubuntu right?
