btw, with the new heat lineup, it wouldn't surprise me if the heat make a strong push for the playoffs in the 2nd half of the season. although they do have the "worst" record in the NBA right now, they are still 10 games behind 8th place in the East! talk about mediocrity arising in the LEastern conference. |
OMG that would be a nightmare if they start winning. We need a good draft pick.
I love this trade, I actually cant believe it happened.
I love Shaq. He helped us win our title. But sadly he's not the same anymore and the fact that we got those 2 players is a steal.
I love how we got more for Shaq then what the Griz got for Gasol

seriously, imo, if the chicago bulls want to "look forward" to the future, after letting scott skiles go which i think is unfortunate, because he was trying his hardest sending the bulls the right direction with the personnel he has at the moment, they should trade ben wallace for draft picks or a decent power forward, and ben gordon for a legitimate #1 / #2 player who doesn't have to take 15-20 shot attempts a game to be involved and a difference in the match.
if this happens, think about a lineup of loul deng, kirk heinrich, and a 3rd guy they can easily get from trading wallace or gordon( preferably a power forward / center ) and legitimate players like chris duhon and joe smith(whose career seems resurrected). also, stepalia and aaron gray seems to have PLENTY of upside, and should be major benefactors in the near future for the bulls. in my opinion, i think aaron gray is capable of being the starting center for the bulls as early as mid march, and should be their starting center beginning next year. that's just my opinion. aaron gray can definately make a better difference for the bulls than ben wallace.
just my 2 cents for tonight .................

Skiles had to go. I mean you're expected to contend for the NBA title and you massively underachieve? Yeah, he had to take the fall for the really bad start

As a lifelong Laker fan (well since the early Vlade, Anthony Peeler and Eldon Campbell days of the early 90's..hey, I'm only 25!) I'm excited but reserved about Pau. Would love a ring this year, but I'm not getting too far ahead of myself here like ESPN and everyone else is trying to do. The playoffs will be tough, but I do love how the league has broken out of it's shell and with the recent moves; there's a lot of new NBA excitement around here again. Shaq coming back west will be really fun for the Lakers-Suns rivalry. Still love the big fella, I have three reasons why! Now if Bynum gets himself healthy, I can't complain too much about Kobe, Fisher, Bynum, Odom, Gasol as a starting 5.
Kudos to the NBA and the crazy ass owners for mixing it all up!!

If Jason Kidd gets his 100th triple-double, looks like it will happen with him as a Mav
