Okay, results in. A pretty slow-burning contest turned into quite a race at the end, with the winner victorious by only a single point. Thanks to all who entered, and without further ado...

DJ Mikey Mike 102 (+5)

Mr. Mystery 101 (+9)

isoterra 86

benjamin 54
phant0m 43.5
Philby 26
lacksesepsotygh 24

Congrats to Mikey as he takes it by the narrowest of margins, and hard luck to Mr. Mystery. Well done to isoterra for third, and a big thanks to the others for entering.

The uniques will probably be scant consolation, but Mr. Mystery takes it:

Table:
======
Mr. Mystery 3
DJ Mikey Mike 2 (-2)
isoterra 2
phant0m 1
benjamin 0 (-1)

And the answers. I was going to do all fancy fonts and stuff for this, but seeing as it took me quarter of an hour to try and put the people in first, second and third in gold, silver and bronze fonts (yes, isoterra is meant to be bronze), I don't think I'll bother. *edit* Or maybe I will.

01. Junkie XL & Sasha - Breezer (Original Mix)
Amazed that so few knew this, I thought it crossed over into both prog/trance genres at the time of its release.
IDs:2

02. Reysan Khan - Shidu 2000 (Voodi Remix)
If this annoyed you it's more than likely Ferry Corsten's fault, as he's the only DJ that I can remember playing this around its release.
IDs:3

03. Onova - Platitude
One of the year's most popular uplifting tunes. It won't win many awards for originality, but what it does it does well.
IDs:2

04. Roll Deep - Shake A Leg (Original Mix)
UK Garage/Grime/Christ-knows group that had a moderate chart success with this incredibley catchy song. Mr. Remix himself Kenny Hayes weighed in with a nice bouncy edit.
IDs:5

05. Cupa - Blaze
In the last contest, isoterra included my favourite Gareth Emery production in the form of Mistral, but this one isn't too far behind. Overlooked by most of the big name DJs, it drives along quite nicely from start to finish.
IDs:3

06. Allure - We Ran At Dawn
A quality track by Mr. Verwest from the turn of the century. He (and the rest of his producion team) really churned out some great stuff during that period.
IDs:5

07. The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star
The outro of this late 70s classic threw a few people off. A couple of interesting facts here - it was the first video played on MTV I believe, and the group contained a certain Hans Zimmer amongst its trio.
IDs:2

08. Lolo - Extended Horizon
Alright they weren't really interesting at all. A gorgeous track from L-Vee here, from an alias that very rarely fails to deliver.
IDs:2

09. The Operators - Furball
A very weird sounding breaks tune from Australia that I remember hearing on some Oslo nights set. I vowed to look into the genre of breaks more after hearing this, but didn't. Fuck 'em.
isoterra unique!

10. Jose Padilla - Who Do You Love (Chicane Remix)
It'd be pretty difficult for a good track not to emerge from these two chillout masters. This remix is also the closest we're going to get to Chicane - Maharvey (why didn't he release that as the bonus track on the FFTMC re-release?).
phant0m unique!

11. Storm - Storm (Original Mix)
Brilliant track from Jam & Spoon, often overshadowed by Time To Burn commercially. Took me fucking ages trying to find a sample for this on P2P!
IDs:4

12. Art Of Trance - Kaleidoscope (Original Mix)
Lush. Fantastic soundscapes from start to finish, what uplifting trance sounded like before the presets.
IDs:2

13. Phynn - This Is The Time
I was stupidly addicted to the 20 second clip from his Trance Energy set that included this, and, as is the norm with these things, I was a bit disappointed when I heard the full track on ITWT 12. It also sounds a bit like a song by..
isoterra unique!

14. Body-Shock - Ghosts In The Church (Original Mix)
..these guys (Return Of The Body Snatchers). You don't see too many bad songs under this alias, be it DJ Ghost or Yves Derutyer alongside L-Vee.
IDs:3

15. Trance Induction - E.T. Welcome Song '99 (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Really overestimated the popularity of this one. Wonderful reverse strings in the breakdown.
IDs:2

16. Plastic Boy - Twixt (Original Mix)
Wow, I didn't realise how many M.I.K.E. tunes I had in this.
IDs:4

17. Lamb - Gabriel
Stunning, stunning piece of music. As hard as it is to decide upon one, if someone forced me to pick a favourite track ever I'd probably be edging towards this.
IDs:4

18. Solid Sessions - Janeiro (Lemon 8 Mix)
First track on the first trance CD that I ever bought, and it took me about 4 years to realise just how good it was.
IDs:3

19. Alphazone - Rockin' (Mat Silver vs Tony Burt Remix)
I was listening to a Scot Project set one night on the radio and heard a fucking brilliant tune. I pretty much forgot about it until I randomly downloaded the same set about 3 years later and almost shat myself when I heard it again. Fucking love that build-up.
IDs:3

20. Hot Butter - Popcorn (Original Mix)
Only found out the name of this recently after hearing it in all those ads for 70s compilations. Think it might have been the first electronic hit. Chirst only knows how, I was sick of it by the time I'd managed to take the sample from it.
IDs:6

21. Task Force - Touch Me (The Thrillseekers Remix)
I always wondered why this remix didn't get much play time. I guess everyone was tired of playing Space Brothers - Shine from couple of years earlier.
IDs:2

22. Craig Armstrong - Let's Go Out Tonight
This Love and Weather Storm usually take the plaudits, but with Paul Buchanan's voice brimming with emotion from start to finish coupled with some gorgeous strings make this my favourite track from Mr. Armstrong.
IDs:3

23. Marco V - Solarize
A more conventional uplifting tune from Marco V, and one which is done well. Very appropriately named too.
IDs:2

24. 808 State - Cubik
Ever lie awake at night, wondering why Ferry Corsten called his track Cubikated? No?! Freak.
IDs:4

25. The Sneaker - Scatterbomb (String Mix)
Classic track that popped up in Oakie's Essential Mix tour and Tiesto's early Magik series. Can't think of anything else to say.
IDs:2

26. New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle
A great track, 20 years on it still retains a certain charm. Really struggling to think of stuff to say now.
Mr. Mystery unique!

27. Joris van Der Straten - Flashin' Over
A tune that I heard over a year ago in a Leon Bolier set that doesn't seem to be much closer to a release. I think it's eventually going to be out on Ferry's Flashover Recordings at some stage.
IDs:2

28. Yomanda - Synth & Strings (Original Mix)
The token commercial hit from a few years ago.
IDs:4

29. Walky Talky - Green & Blue
A really unsettling track, creates a brilliant atmosphere from beginning to end. Typifies the dark, driving sound of M.I.K.E.'s now defunct Scanner label.
IDs:2

30. Avanza - Take Control (Original Mix)
Really simple, catchy song played by Paul van Dyk in 2002.
IDs:2

31. Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla
Typically brilliant, over the top uplifting track from the Icelandic quartet. You have to have a certain amount of respect for people that created their own language to use in their tracks.
IDs:3

32. Leftfield - Phat Planet
Probably the best track from Rhythm And Stealth, the disappointing follow-up album to Leftism.
IDs:2

33. Calling The Freak - Moving Elements
I can't get enough of the melody in this track. Pretty different from other tracks under this M.I.K.E. alias, but an alias that's well worth exploring nonetheless.
DJ Mikey Mike unique!

34. Gouryella - Ligaya (Rank 1 Remix)
Commissioned to remix Ferry's solo Gouryella effort, Rank 1 pulled out when they realised that their effort was too similar to the original, leaving us with only this set-rip. Refreshingly honest stance from the Dutch duo.
IDs:5

35. T.Raumschmiere - Monstertruckdriver (Original Mix)
One of the funnest songs around, always brings a smile to my face.
Mr. Mystery unique!

36. Mirco De Govia - Mindspring
Mr. Quality > Quantity. I can't recommend his album Chronoscale enough, just one of the best producers around.
Mr. Mystery unique!

37. Underworld - Pearls Girl
From the CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY intro to the FX laiden swirly outro, another top notch production from the English (then) trio.
IDs:5

38. Moon Project - Moments Are Forever
Absolutely euphoric track, one of the best build-ups of any track in recent years.
IDs:5

39. Sasha - Magnetic North
Why did I fucking do 50 tracks.
IDs:5

40. Bliss - Kissing
Gorgeous downtempo effort from Denmark. Heard it in one of Corentin Emprou's Ambient mixes from the DJ Promotion forum, all of which are highly recommended.
IDs:4

41. Cold Blue & Del Mar - 11 Days (Sebastian Brandt Remix)
Similar to Onova - Platitude, no points for originality but plenty for execution.
IDs:2

42. Wednesday Rolls - Bended Face
Matti Laamanen continues to display his talents as a producer. From the uplifting anthems of I Love You and Flakes, to the more progressive Live, to this impressive four track EP which I'm finding hard to classify.
IDs:2

43. LFO - Freak (Original Mix)
Brilliantly over the top track, check out the video for this.
IDs:2

44. M.O.R.P.H. - Maximum Overdrive (Benicio Remix)
Absolutely stunning producer, his solo career includes The Quest - C Sharp and Dutch Force - Deadline.
IDs:5

45. Altern 8 - Activ 8
I remember flicking through the music channels one night and seeing this absolutely shite-looking early 90s video. Glad I did stop and check it out, because it's a fucking deadly track!
IDs:2

46. DJ Tiesto - Energy 2000 (31-12-1999)
This was meant to catch out all the n00bs that only had the set that begins with Spoiled & Zigo - More & More, and it did a bit. Respect to phant0m for guessing it by hearing Millenium Stringz in the background!
IDs:4

47. James Zabiela - Essential Mix (22-02-2004)
I got this to try and see what all the fuss was about this guy. It was good, but the only song it prompted me to get was Nancy Wilson - Elevator Beat! Didn't realise that sometimes the essential mixes were done live too.
IDs:3

48. DJ Jean - Trance Energy 2002
Some live remixing here as Jean premiers his infamous Fart Edit of PPK - ResuRection. And how we all laughed, knowing full well that farty sounds would never have any success in dance music. Then we met the 2007 bassline. DJ Jean; a man ahead of his time.
IDs:2

49. Paul Oakenfold - Gatecrasher, Lotherton Hall, Leeds Essential Mix (19-06-1999)
Fair play to anyone that didn't have to listen to at least the rest of Gull in its entirety after hearing it here.
IDs:3

50. Sven Wittekind - Timewarp 2006
Alright, this was a bit of a "Look what I found" sort of addition. I would've also given points for "The longest 60 seconds of Sven Wittekind's life".
DJ Mikey Mike unique!

Cheers for a good contest - Definitely one of the better recent ones. Any chance of letting us know what the unique IDs were?

I am kicking myself for not getting the New Order ID.

Cheers dude. I can probably get one of these up in the next few days. But is it best to have a bit of a break between these sort of things and maybe post say in a weeks time? Or just get it up asap? What would people prefer?

Yeah, a break would be good, maybe that'll get more people interested again.

How the hell can I get an unique with Bizarre Love Triangle? Seriously...

I can't remember exactly, but I think they were 02 and 47.

You were the only other person to ID any of it. And to be honest, I only first heard the song about 6 months ago so I'm not really one to talk!
