haha you know what, i just realized that pic was taken at mount doug, in victoria - but all my other foresty pics were taken at beacon hill. This one is pretty much the same type of area as the others.

But that's really cool... i think you may have mentioned to me on Deviant art that you were in the area.. or something. lol

Some of my favourites, and then some of my turnouts, where I see a great view but the camera/me don't capture it....



i dunno why i like that, it's just the contrast between a 10ft high sanddune and the sky i think

That was a Nikon DSLR that I borrowed from a friend. It's in Seattle overlooking Lake Union. 2 second exposure, f/5. Pick a lighted/bright centeral poing. Zoom in, start zooming out quickly while depressing shutter, let exposure finish while zoomed out. Pretty simple really!
