Again, it depends not solely on the tracks/bitrates, but also on the quality of the audio system you're listening on.

Well I'm sure not all of us are rich or spend all our money on audio equipment that is good enough to tell the difference...or even have that great of hearing (unless we are trained audio engineers, which I'm sure even some of them couldn't tell in a blind study).

Yeah 192 kbps is good as well but 320kbps is more worth the money, even just for listening. I think you'll find more 320kbps options nowadays..maybe 192 kbps MP4s (which are almost the same as 320 kbps MP3s just even smaller files).

There was a study done @ some club in Europe (Fabric?). They did 192 v. 320 v. WAV. I forget the outcome. Anyone remember?

Generally, there will be a grainy blurriness to the sound, often arising in the form a high-pitched whine or tonal crackle. It's hard to say, specifically. I still hold to my assertion that an adult listening at a healthy listening volume wouldn't hear the difference between 320 and wav, even on a high quality system.

I'm now ripping all my CDs to the computer in .wav, also I'm buying all digital downloads as .wavs from now on. .wav seems to have more depth and a better overall bass sound than 320kb mp3s.
