The byproduct of desalinization is a hazardous material, and it takes several years to build a facility - since the SE never really had this problem before it isn't really realistic to expect that they would have already built a facility they don't need that pollutes the environment.

Yeah, it rained a little last night. I guess God heard Sunny's prayers and sent us "relief" considering that the rain had absolutely no impact on the drought.
(Never mind rain was predicted for last night several days ago before he prayed)
