I have some really good friends who are twins, and they are really close.
It can be fun, but also ultra competitive. (Identical) twins are so fucking competitive it is amazing. Compete at sports, girls, etc. And always getting confused with each other. I just call them by their last name, cause I can never remember. They have no distinguishing marks or haircut styles to tell them apart.

crying is deemed gay. honestly, to me letting any emotion take you over is a sign of weakness. I've learned to block things out for the most part. Actually, that's not completely true, I don't block them out, I keep it inside, it's just more convenient. I feel a lot of rage and injustice on a regular basis, it's hard to keep composed sometimes, especially when you're dealing with really immature and petty losers who are on a lower level than you, but you gotta rise above, and it makes the sweet moments in life that much sweeter. |
I think thats stupid man...
It doesn't show that your weak to express different emotions, if you find something funny you laugh (i presume).
To me the weak people are the ones who bottle everything up inside, whats the score with that... ?

hey Infinity, how's it going partying it up?
on to questions...
Drizzt, I told her that I realized we're not as close.. and our best friend (yes, we share one best friend) told her the same, though she still blames it on me, but on the other hand seems "too busy" to do anything about it.
Devbert, we'll be 20 next week (she's 10 min older).
Trancewave, just like any sibilings, twins can be distant too, either because of incompatibility or rivalry. The two of us are extremely different, but we were very close and always together because we moved many times and realized that in a new country/city/school we only knew one another, so we'd stick together. We were never competing (yes, happened a few times that we were attracted to the same guy, went for the same job, but usually we would just back out because we knew the other one will get hurt). She was better with grades, I was better in sports, she always knew exactly what she wanted, I would leave it to possibilities.. and our parents always compared us, which we hated. But our parents kept that friendship between us strong and now that we moved out, each one went her way.
I told her that I'm planning to go to Berlin & Prague for a week+ this summer before going to Montenegro and that she should come with me, but she's just too eager to go to Montenegro, so she passed.

No bro, that was really interesting.
Sad too.
But you helped me remember the last time I cried.
It was about 2 or 3 months ago.
I started at point guard for our varsity basketball team, and we were in the semifinals of CCS, and we ended up losing to the team who went all the way.
But we were up 10 at half, and I was pumped up, and excited. We had to drive over 90 minutes each way to play too.
Then we slowly unraveled, and the game was tied with 2 minutes to go. The coach totally fucking forgot to put me back in (and told me the next day he was sorry he didn't) and we ended up losing in the last 30 seconds cause of some penalty shots (7 plus fouls).
Once we lost, I just totally realized, I will never play basketball again. This is the last organized game of my life. And I thought about playing on the team for the last 4 years, and playing through middle school, and before that.
And I just hugged a really good friend of mine (my backup, one of my best friends, who was playing instead of me), and I just cried for about 30 seconds. Then, stopped. It was a fucked up moment. I felt totally defenseless.
On the bus ride back, I listened to a trance CD, and it put me in a calm mood, and I thought about other things. Girls, College, Life, my future. But I will never forget that feeling when the buzzer went off to end the game. It felt like I got sucker punched in the stomach.

Such a common story to me! Great story I know how you feel! I play basketball, I've experienced what you experienced 3454656509684096840985043 times. (You know when you are winning in the last few minutes...and your opponent comes back!)
Its happened at least 14 times a year to me. And fuck same pain! Once the scores are tied, your whole body becomes fucked...you get scared and I agree you feel defenseless. I rather lose a match by 30 points than having to blow a good lead of more than 10. I hate it I hate it I hate. I've experience too many times! My basketball team has a long long history of winning in the last few minutes then slipping away, in the most cruellest of ways. This has made me cry on many occasions. Boy oh Boy trance can never cure this for me! This is pain AT its BEST. It like going from ecstasy to agony in less than a few minutes. I've always tried to make plans to prevent these situations by telling my team to not sitback and become complacement when they are winning by alot. The only good idea is to pretend you are losing when you are winning by more than ten.
When I was 13, I played in a grand final. The half time score showed that we were winnign 19 - 13. Then sometime in the 2nd half I remember at one stage I looked up at the scoreboard and we were winning 27 - 13! In the last few minutes boy oh boy did things change! Our opponents were catching up! in the final seconds we were winning 37 - 35. Our opponents had the last possession, the whole of my team was panicking. One of the other team's player was not guarded...last 4 seconds came...he took a shot at the top of the key (three-pointer) *slow motion* the ball hit the backboard and went in... FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!
then bounced back out
We were champions but for the last time.
My point I want to make out is that blowing up a big lead in any sport in the last few minutes is the most cruellest, painful, worsed pain you can ever get! If you are really sensitive it can affect you for a fortnight! This is a warning and helpful advice to those who play sports...if you are winning by alot tell your team to not become complacent and to not sitback You should give 130% not for half the match, not 3 quarters of the match but for every second till the buzzer!
