I will just direct it towards the first one since you are a bit oblivious. His paddleshifting bullshit is amusing because all it is is a momentary contact microswitch, which you could position anywhere. Once the shift program is activated, it will shift when the conditions are reached, holding it makes no difference. But hey, slap & release the paddleshifter because it's cool! Just another surefire sign of an inexperienced racer.

No helmet, no burn suit, no fire extinguisher, no roll cage, no paramedics, no chute if your brakes go...
Probably with none of those it's debatable as to 'if' you'd survive anyway at that speed.
Though running up the ass of a minibus full of people going to a party or just some person coming home from work, well, they're dead too and it's remarkably selfish to the point of being homicidal.

I'm not that into cars and don't know, but I would guess that it would be hard to find a public racetrack with a long enough straightaway to hit that top speed.

There's salt flats with nice long stretches, organised meets and proper safety measures, along with precision timing. Yes, the little speedo in your dash is not exactly precise, it's why they're never 'official' in any capacity.

I go 110mph nearly every day. The fast lane is a serious business, no joke, unlimited lane. It's the responsibility of the driver in the fast lane to downgrade to the "almost unlimted lane if someone is creeping up on them. If i could go faster, i would, and if theresa was planning on wanting to get it from the back, well then the world goes to shit.

anyways, the video is down, so I can't really comment towards him unless he is weaving i/o like:

This is exactly what he was NOT doing. He passed, if I recall correctly, a total of two cars, none of which required any maneuver to pass. However over 200 mph is a whole different level than say 120 or similar.

if the jackass has enough money to afford a lambo, then he shouldn't have a problem finding a place where he can push the limits of his ride, within a safe and controlled environment.

p.s. this is why somebody should build a large speed ring, like the one in Wolfsburg, Germany that v-dub test their cars on.

Like this one
I'd be thinking you might break 115, maybe 120mph in a rice bolt on one with their short gear ratios

Considering the stock ones have a fuel cut out at 112mph in north America market, um no.

And considering that they are limited to 155mph stock from the factory in the north American market, not going to happen either.

All done on your x-box more like...

He can have the day off

LOL I assure you, ricegirl, that it's all true. What I've learned from e46fanatics.com, e46toronto.ca, and m3forum.com is that some stock M3s (and other stock cars, for that matter) do not have the fuel cutoff. Most of those forum members have not even tried taking their cars up that high...but two other in Toronto that have admitted to not experiencing any cut-off. I can attach the link if you like! So...the 250 km/h Canadian limit from the M3 brochure (156 mph) does not apply in my car. I think a friend of mine took a picture while we were on the circuit, so I'll happily share that too! Maybe I'll just get him to post here cuz he's a TOTA forum member. kthxbye!

Re: the Civic the only mods I had were AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, Tanabe Racing Medallion full cat-back exhaust, and Eibach Pro-Kit spring. No ECU mods, but for some reason (again, similar to the BMW story) no top speed cut-off!! Maybe Formula Honda (Toronto dealership that did all my work) did something to remove it, but I never requested it.

And finally, re: the Prelude, no engine cut-off! Don't know what to tell you, but on a downhill straight (btw the Civic was also on a downhill) on the circuit, it did the same thing.

Go back to playing your video games and stop pretending, okay ricegirl? Leave the rides to us boys.

PS the reference to Moral was with respect to his constant rants against high speeders. So his responses wouldn't have been as loaded with self-righteous bullshit.

EDIT:
Upon review of those Lambo/Supra videos, I thought I'd add that based on the info from those forum members (whose advice I'd take over an arrogant wannabe gearhead like lilith, who evidently doesn't drive a performance car) is that cars like BMW, Audi, Porsche (not sure about Ferrari/Lambo) have speedos that can be up to 5-7% higher than the actual wheel speed. The only true measure of the car's speed would be with a satellite tracking system or with a more accurate performance car monitoring system. So I may not have even travelled as fast as the speedo was telling me in all 3 of those cars; I was just reading it off the speedo (as opposed to my TV screen )

EDIT2:
Maybe to give you the benefit of the doubt, because your Civic estimations were so outrageously low, that you didn't notice the fact that I said I had the 2000 Civic SiR (the Canadian version of the US "Si" spec, which was the 160 hp DOHC engine, one of the highest performing engines in a Civic (and most popular for current modding)). Without any of the mods, I hit a top speed of 220 km/h (138 mph) on a downhill, where it would seem that the car would not go any further (because the needle would take too long to move)...however there was never any engine cut-off.

Just out of curiousity what car do you drive, Lilith, and have you had any high-speed experience with any performance cars...or are you simply speaking out of your ass or basing your knowledge on your trolling experience of car forums?
