Steven, that explains things. I seriously thought he was pissy just to be pissy; my mistake. Too bad someone threw ice at him. From the photos you two seemed to get along very well; hope he had a good time afterward.

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

After that happened I think he just wanted to get his set over and done with and have a beer..Kinda funny that he thought it was me though, I got thug written all over me..

its only my 3rd time in NYC so I'm still doing a lot of walking and tourist stuff all day and was tired when i got to rebels. couldnt drink either because i did not want to get so faded that ill miss my flight.

every set i heard in the main room & gallery were fun! zack roth opened beautifully for andy moor. once moor got on it made it hard for me to leave to catch b&j at webster hall but im glad i went to b&j too as i had a good time there and its nice checking out new venues although i did prefer rebels a lot more. got back to catch the last45mins of CL who was dropping bangers! forgot who played before Jay but the last few tracks were great! Jay had some trouble early on w/ the equipment but once that was straighten out it was constant classic bombs! For an Angel

its unfortunate that rebels will now be all hip hop really like the club and didnt it just open this past july/august? i remember after PvD the after party there was a lot of TAs first time there. at least ill get to check out new venues next time

It was nice meeting you too! Hope to see you soon in the near future! glad to hear you had fun.

what a freaking night! Thanks to everyone that came out. Amazing djs aside, its the people that show up that really make a party, and last night I think I knew just about everyone at Rebel haha.

On to the djs though, Andy and Chris were both amazing. Andy was a little spent from a long day of travelling, getting stuck in 2 hours worth of traffic after being picked up at the airport, and getting dropped off at the wrong hotel...as soon as he got on the decks though, his energy shot through the roof and he dropped a killer set.

About Christopher's sound being 'dated' as someone mentioned, I definitely disagree. He does play a kind of old school style of hard trance, but it worked and people were loving it. He actually started getting more melodic towards the end of his set...his last track was Sean Tyas - Drop, which got me prety souped.

The locals in the Gallery were just as good as the headliners. Being on in the main room, I missed a lot of Mike D's set, but the last hour was PFS. Big Mike followed up perfectly with a more housey set than I am used to from him. Eco and Hai Lee both played great as well and kind of jacked some of CL's crowd from the main floor lol. Jay! awesome stuff dude. I missed the first part of his set, but the last few tracks were awesome, and perfectly mixed. Sorry your set got cut a little short, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of you in the future.

But yeah, this was the perfect way to end things off at Rebel. I had a blast opening up and closing things out on the main floor. I started out djing 5 years ago as a straight trance dj, but gradually shifted towards more housey music. Breaking out the trance after Chris really reminded me of how fun the genre is to play. Thanks to Marcello for hooking me up with some toonage when I ran out towards the end..."Light at the End!"

Thanks again for coming down though, you and Sheila's being there really made the night extra fun, especially for Andy I think lol.

i had a great time last night... i tried to stay sober.... but its always difficult when i'm out at a party. i really enjoyed everyone's set. andy moor spun his usual prog trance, and what i heard of cl (my set was during his) was really good as well. some nice deep/dark trance. eco's set was great including his own production that he ended with which had a great melody. Jay's set was fulll of classics. it really brought me back to some roxy day's with pvd. on the run (ocean to shore) wtf! haha.. i was so damn happy to hear that track. anyways.. had a great time. it was nice meeting some new people. stunade, sid (sorry i didn't remember you from before). had so much fun... i need to stop being such a hermit and start coming out more. fuck work!
