bastards, how much are you paying for airfare? i havent been to that area in a few years and i'm dying to get away from this cold weather bullshit we got around here...
i'm sure i can find a decently cheap hotel... last time i was there i spent a grand total of $1000 including EVERYTHING (airfare, hotel w/ oceanfront room with a sick balcony overlooking a pool right next to all the action, food, alcohol, clubs, taxi to and from airport etc.)
i'm surprised more people don't go down there
wow, did you book that thru an agency? where did you get those prices? I am asking bc me and the man are thinking vaca in mexico and this is one of our top choices!

I usually don't report on many events that my wife and I go to and certainly less while we're there, but I have to say that this has been one of the best events we have ever gone to. The canadians sure know how to party ! It's all been good music, good sounds, nice chill vibe. The perfect WMC warm-up - actually makes you almost dislike WMC. We're here for sure next year. Playa del Carmen is pretty sweet.

we just got back home today. We were only in Mexico for 2 nights of the Conference. Saturday was a lot of fun. Myself and Keryn played earlier in the night at Om Lounge right in the middle of town, which was a lot of fun. Headed over to Coco Maya around 1:30o to catch Lawler. We didn't stay that late, as I was a little on the drunk / tired side, but Lawler played pretty cool music while we were there...nothing crazy though, although I'm sure he probably picked it up later in the night. Good seeing Brian and Mike out.
on Sunday, Dubfire was at Blue Parrot. We were beat from a long day at the beach, and had an early flight today, so we stayed in and called it an early night. Back in New Jersey now.
some pics from our gig @ Om Lounge. Om is a very cool open air spot right in the middle of club row. Kind of funny...we spent all day shopping on beatport for like chill, vocally house music to play since its more loungey than clubby...as soon as we get on the owner tells us to pick it up and to play peak time because all the Americans were out and about and very drunk. So we didn't get a chance to play any of the new music.
