This thread reminds me that while I try to keep myself relatively informed and consider myself to have a good amount of general knowledge, I never got into reading books after since I was 15 or so. Articles, magazines, all sorts of shit online, yes, just not taking a book and reading it. Maybe I could be less dumb by doing so.

Having the CORe picking a book for me to read seems like the ideal start.
