At my old job I got a stern bollocking once it was nothing major. My boss said she was leaving early and was meetings all morning. Some of my mates were back from Uni it was a nice summers day so I went to the pub to meet them. Since she blantently took the piss herself taking long lunches and constantly leaving early. So I decided to stay in the pub for an extra two hours.
I strolled back in not expecting to get noticed, unfortunatly I stank of alcohol. Upon approaching my desk to be met by stoneface, unfortunatly something had cropped up and she had to stay back.
She went ballistic, threatened to get her scummy mates in HR involved and it was left at that.

Why would we do that?
Seriously. I have busy days and not so busy days. There's not a whole lot going on right now in sports here in America (a bunch of college bowl games...that's about it). So I got nothing to do.
But when it's busy...it's very busy.

I'm one to talk, really - I basically get paid for watching movies all day. Then again we can do pretty much whatever we feel like when there's nothing to do as long as we don't leave the workplace.

I laugh at the thought of having time for the internet at work. The only time it'd do me any good is on night shifts.
But yeah we don't have the net anyways. :/
