The same thing you missed again when you wrote:
You accuse me of not comprehending what you say, while your doing exactly that yourself. What I "seem to think" is not what I do think, and I never said such a thing anywhere. All I did was utter my opinion on this subject.
It's good for you that you don't care for other people's opinions. Please just note two things:
1) Somebody disagreeing with you doesn't mean he misunderstood your arguments or is attacking you personally.
2) I'm right, you're wrong. |
Let me just show you one thing quick here:

Great for David Lynch - but if I feel like bringing a laptop, iPod, or any other portable media player on a plane to watch a movie the point is for me to be entertained, not to respect some pretentious twats idea of how "his" film should be watched. |
To which your reply was:

Apart from artistic integrity and your obvious dislike towards David Lynch, you can't seriously be claiming that watching a movie (insert your favorite movie here) on an iphone comes close to watching it on the big screen, or on a good system at home. That's like listening to music (insert your favorite track here) on some crappy laptop speakers instead of a decent sound system. So much is lost.
And a track lasts less than 10 mins, a film over 2 hours. Like Lynch says, you're cheated. |
Now what is it in your reply that has anything at all to do with the statement I made about wanting a portable entertainment device? Did I say "Watching a movie on an iphone is the same as watching it anywhere else."? Absolutely not.
So regardless of whether or not you were just "offering an opinion", the opinion itself had absolutely nothing to do with the discussion at hand.
Nice try though, someday you'll be able to come up with something relevant.
