Its the E63 now, however i would rather have the CLS 63, takes one person less but looks 10 times better

Cadillac put a lot of time and money into this interior to get their quality up. It's not quite at the same level as a Lexus LS or IS interior, but it's leaps and bounds ahead of the last CTS and other US luxury cars.

I'm not holding my breath. I had the "privilege" to sit in some American cars (i know a guy who imports us cars...just my luck why cant i know a guy who owns a Ferrari dealership) and you cant help but doubt the ability of the Americans to make a proper luxury car when your 01 Fiat Punto diesel has better quality plastic in the interior than, well the 300C comes to mind.
Us cars might work in the us but they will never work in Europe, the sooner someone realizes that and stops trying to make cars that will appeal to Europeans the more money they will save. In this segment Europe offers the 5 series, E class and CLS class, A6, Citroen C6 (most comfortable ride you can imagine) and the Alfa Romeo 166 (oh and i guess the Masserati Quatrroporte). Given that choice there is no reason why anyone should be thinkibng about buying american.
