I cant put any input on the food or joint but still should be on the WMC map since many do like it. Closer to the dates when we have a large list of food joints, we can do the whole $ thing near it to symbolize the average price.
Speaking of food chains though, TGI Fridays is right there also and I think has decent food and great alchoholic desert beverages like the mudslide.
Anyone know if there are are Ruby Tuesdays or Tony Romas etc. on South Beach? Going on to chain restaruant sites sucks cause they open and close places down quick and never update their sites.
Also something that might help is fast food 24 hour joints in south beach. The non 24 hour ones we dont need but 24 hour ones might be of help sionce not much so far on the list is 24 hours. |
You also like Fridays and Ruby Tuesdays? Jesus christ dude, no wonder you think Jerry's is good.
I gotta say, you have horrible, atrocious taste in food. If you're just looking for bland, deep fried run of the mill mush, why even worry? You can find that garbage anywhere. You might as well eat at McDonalds all week.
You are gonna be in fuckin' South Beach man, screw the chains. Go someplace unique! There are sooo many good restaurants in South Beach. I realize money plays a big factor, but hell, you are gonna spend lots of it either way down there, might as well eat some good fresh stuff that you aren't going to find elsewhere.
I'd like to toss in that Pizza Rustica is really only good if you're wasted or starving. I had fond memories of it from '06 for some reason, but I went back in '07 and it was pretty crappy...
If you're into sushi, check out Sushi Rock on Collins. It has really good sushi and is very reasonably priced.
I would NOT goto Doraku for sushi however. It's pretty pricey and they don't know what they are doing. It's going for trendy over tradition which I don't really care for. The pieces of sashimi are disgustingly huge. You might think that's good, but one of the key points of sushi is that each piece should be eaten in one bite. These things were like entire fillets of raw fish...not very appealing...
