Danny hasn't told his own forum, so I wouldn't consider that fact yet.

If this is to be a "marathon" set, he needs to do it at one of downtown's 24-hour clubs. Otherwise the so-called marathon will end at 5 a.m.

he used to play open-to-close at BED....that would be around 8+ hours. i'd consider that pretty equivalent to a 'marathon' set. never did understand the argument that a 12 hour set somehow makes it automatically superior that a 4 hour set.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Set, one of the best nights of my life was there last year with Deep Dish, Cedric and Dean Coleman but the only resion we had fun was b/c we dropped 3K on a table in the middle of the room.
THe place is models and bottles....Howells is fist pumping getting dirty in my Nike's and screaming sorta vibe. Danny Howells at Set to me just does not feel right.

I think it might have to do with the extra 8 hours of music.
In 8+ hours Danny really has time to explore his record bag and take you places.

personally about 8-9 hours in any 1 club is about my limit, regardless who is spinning. its a small group of people that can do a DT marathon from beginning to end.

I've never done a DT marathon (and imo Danny plays much better marathons), but when I've seen Danny he really can get amazing about 6 hours into his set and then just go from there.
