I d/l-ed the soundtrack but still haven't had the chance to listen through. I'll let you guys know what's there what isn't, if it's worth it etc.

Yeah I got the same one I think. My favorite one isn't there either (which happens to be the one featured in that add with the clicking sounds) but Prospectors Arrive was one I also wanted badly and it's there... beautiful music.
Well I found out that Jonny Greenwood's score wasn't eligible for an Oscar nomination because it isn't entirely original as he took from older classical pieces. This blows of course because the soundtrack is wonderful and is definately worthy of a nomination AT LEAST.

The nominations are in and There Will Be Blood has an impressive 8 nominations!!!!!

Art Direction
Film Editing
Best Motion Picture of the Year (Hell Yesss!!!!)

I'm very happy with those nominations, it deserves them. Greenwood got robbed because of that bogus rule and I believe Dano should of been nominated for Supporting Actor. Other than that, this year's Oscars nominations on the whole seem surprisingly fair and just.
I hope the final results don't make me eat those words.

Ehhh I don't know if he's worthy of the statue itself but he's definitely worthy of recognition. A nomination would of been the highlight of his career and he deserves that.
