Earthbound for SNES, one of my favorite games of all time. But not sure if its one of those hidden gems, I didnt know alot of people who ever played it, but between RPG and Gaming enthusiast, alot of them played it.

But it IS very easy to confuse the two, how many games have Shining as a predominant word in the title...
I also want to say that Shining Force 3 for Saturn is one of the hardest games to find. And when you find it, you are likely paying very high triple-digit dollars.
Dayem... if there is a Shining in the Darkness 2, that might be reason to dig out the 'ol genesis and start hittin ebay! (or maybe check the emu sites ) I'll have to look in to that.
(as it is, this thread is already making me want to dig out some old gems)

Bullfrog was bought by Sierra yea. Man Bullfrog was sick, Theme Hospital ftw! I think they had Dungeon Keeper too.
Syndicate was great man and definitely not unknown. What about Syndicate Wars, wasn't that the sequel?

I played the demo of the PC version of this years ago. I thought it was a good time. I think the reviews were horrible, but what the hell do they know.
