that said, i havent really heard anything i like by him though, but im still keeping an open mind.

PLUR!

I think that's what everyone here is getting at too It just so happens that none of us like the music Dubfire is making. If his name was Cuntscab McGee it would still be shitty music, just produced under a hilarious name

If he wanted to leave his Deep Dish fame behind and disappear into the bowels of the underground, he's failed miserably. It was probably going to be a controversial situation to begin with. The fact his releases have firmly divided everyone over their quality ("It's awesome!" "It's wank!" "It's... meh...") just keeps his name out there, regardless of the quality of his work.

Seriously, if he REALLY wanted to start from the ground level again, he'd have ditched the Dubfire moniker and either choose a new name or maybe rely on his real name instead. If he'd start producing his 'mnml' as Mr. Shirazinia, I'm willing to bet there'd be a lot less talk.

He didn't say that he was leaving the Deep Dish fame and wanting it to cease existence. He said he doesn't want to do that ANYMORE, as in now towards the future.

And that's why when I make a thread about Michael Jackson's new 2008 album, TA is going to have a thoughtful debate about the difference between Quincy Jones-era MJ production and the 90s albums instead of a mountain of "LOL where's my nose?" posts.

[/sarcasm]

And yeah, I'm not a big fan of Dubfire's new stuff...

Dubfire was probably one of 2007's best producers. Hes always been more underground of the two (Deep Dish). The darker one and musically more talented. I think some people hate on him because hes Iranian and Muslim, but fuck that shit and fuck them.

And with one fell swoop you've quickly overtaken the status as one of the biggest morons on this board.

Ok moron supreme lol why dont you name me the top 10 producer's of 2007.

You should be sucking his dick actually because he can go from something like "Say Hello".....to owning dancefloors with "RibCage." I know you hoezzies played RibCage out. I thought TranceAddict.com forums were for people who take risks and change their style for the better? I think this interview is actually full of shit in trying to paint Dubfire as someone who is purely commercial based on what he did in the last half of the Deep Dish duo. Have you guys heard Junk Science or Yoshiesque or were you in diapers?

So your denying people dont hate eachother over race or religion and find it easier to be bias against the person? Stop lying to yourself. And when it comes to music its easy to hide the hate behind "i dont like the person's music." Im not saying all of you are racist, but some of the hate Dubfire gets on TA especially after the amazing 2007 kinda doesnt make sense, so my only guess is personal bias.

Trust me. Nobody here is hating on Ali because he is either a) Iranian or b) Muslim. If they actually are, then I say "Fuck them" with as big of a middle finger as you do.

It just so happens that a lot of us really just don't like the tracks that he's been producing. Is that so hard to swallow?
