Pat has obvious an obvious lack understanding when it comes to religion in general, not to mention unwarranted hostility towards it, as any rabid athiest does (not be confused with regular layed back and chilled out athiests), and there's no lack of them here. It's obvious from his definition of religion, quite contrary to what any [relatively] serious religious person of any faith or denomination would consider to be accurate and/or fair. He also can't seem to make a distinction between wahabism and Islam, but he's always interesting to listen to and I feel that his intentions are good for the most part. The three little pigs things for example, that quite silly. I can't think of a single Muslim who would find it offensive lol, unless there's something seriosuly wrong with them to begin with. I also don't know where he's getting this "anti-Jewish" rubbish from eigther. Criticism of the state of Israel, Israeli generals, and political figures is not a criticism of the Jewish people or Judaism. The amount of division and resentment fostered by ignorance and lack of dialogue never ceases to surprise me. And this idea of pandering to 'Muslim' sensibilites is blatantly false. The only sensibilites of any minority group that are 'pandered' to (and used opportunisticly with is quite repulsive) are exclusive to two groups only, African Americans and Jews, not hispanics, Muslims, Arabs, Asians (i.e. East Asian, the way the term is used in the US), or any other group for that matter. Sure there some ridiculous superficial and rather pointless attempts at appeasement about issues most Western Muslims, and even fob Muslims could care less about... which interestingly enough only serves to increase resentment towards Muslims. I don't pray five times a day, and even if I did, I wouldn't request special basins or whatever they're called be installed exclusively for me lol. And if anyone does, stop being such a lazy nagging child. Take a lesson from Orthodox Jews who're rather selfsufficient and have wellknit communities that provide facilities/resources/help that only they need. Or find some other alternative. Although I personaly don't see what the big deal is if such accomadations do exist.

Those are the only two choices one should get, moving to a better place and trying to reform it to suit you instead of you adapting to it is not and should never be a third option.

Everything has a price, and in this case the price for a higher standard of living is adopting to the customs of area you are now living at.
