Making their triumphant return to Hollywood Fridays, Stereo Soul Recordings brings you another helping of the most upfront House, Electro and Techno from Vancouver’s hottest new record label.
The Stereo Soul crew have had huge success over the last 2 months, with Hirshee's huge anthem "In Time" hitting the charts hard, Jeff Daniel's track "Your Touch" was charted by none other than Sander Kleinenberg, and Oliver Nickel's Ragdoll stormed into the Beatport top 100 with their track "Soundwave". Meanwhile Lazy Rich just released three huge remixes for Calvertron, Sharooz and Dilemn and his forthcoming track "Don't Think About Me" is released on November 20th accompanied by a monstrous remix by electro house legend Miles Dyson.

Hollywood Fridays @ Lotus Sound Lounge Dec 5th Lineup
This week we welcome the two stars of the SlowDJs crew to the decks for their first appearance together at Hollywood Fridays. Vinnie the Squid and Ricco should need no intro, because they have been setting dance floors ablaze in Vancouver for many years now. Each of them are amazing DJs in their own right, but when they team up it's muh-fuggin' magical.
Also joining the boys in the booth will be Victoria transplant Nate Jones who will be making his Hollywood debut. Nate has almost a decade of experience under his belt and has played alongside some of the biggest names in the business. Nate's deep and techy style is hard hitting, but still packs a good amount of funk to get your feet moving.

Warmm goes to Hollywood- the freshest sound from Vancouver's top DJ talent. Those Twins (Alan and Alex Da Silva) have been steadily making their name around town for a number of years now. Their deep style of electro and techno sounds have been getting people moving in many clubs in Vancouver including Tunnel club, Ginger62 and the Red Room.
They are joined by Norrie Taylor who should really need no introduction. He has been captivating audiences with his sets at Lotus for a few years now. Also in the mix this week we've got Vocalist Cassandra Nantel who has had a number of great tracks released lately including Hollywood's own Lazy Rich - "Don't Think About Me" on Myles Dyson's 12 inch recordings.

so I just got around to listening to this Nima Saeedi set that you posted here uh, a few months ago now, and I just wanted to say that it is superb.
I'll check this night out soon -- this is really the stuff I want to hear when I'm out, I'm just not huge on the lotus as a venue.

The first time I went there I went with some friends really early, it was a pretty bad first impression. Almost empty, looked cramped, etc. But as more people came in we started to have fun and it ended up being a great night, I've been back many times since. If you're looking for a place to dance and have some drinks with friends, I haven't found a better place in the city. Plus you won't get hot and sweaty!
