When my hdj-1000's broke a month or 2 ago, i bolted, glued, taped, melted and tied them back together. Now they look fugly, ghetto, out of shape but unbreakable.
Now if only i had remembered to solder the connecting wires before doing all that.

I am comparing them to some rolands and a pair of sonys that i had and other phones that i used. These sound pretty good compared to those. I hear that bose makes good phones and so does some other companies but i thought i was getting a good balence of price and sound. I am one to throw the phones around a bit on a set and i think i am going to be happy with what i got.

I have 2 comments:
1. I always hear stories about you guys listening to your iPod on the bus, subway, street, etc. You guys are so lucky, doing that here is like begging to get mugged.
2. What the hell are you doing using your $160+ headphones on a bus? Even worse, I hear about people jogging, exercising, and doing all sorts of shit with them. Why would anyone spend so much money on a pair of cans and use it for anything other than DJing or listening to music while chillin' at home is beyond me.
Basically you're asking for them to get fucked.
Edit: just realized that guy is Canadian, which made my day even more.
I use my cans while DJin' and a bit in the studio. I haved used them on an mp3 player when i first got them but i will just use the old sonys for that. I don't go on the bus...
I hope that you are not suggesting anything negitive about canadians... And i was wondering why you quoted me....

Great cans, but studio cans. They're bigger, heavier and bulkier than the 7506. Also much more expensive and more plastic parts than the 7506.
They're all I've ever known. I'll have to check out the 7506's, then.

LOL, have absolutely nothing against Canadians...
The funny thing is that the guy who asked what 'vis-a-vis' means(which is French) was Canadian (who has English and French as official languages).
I know French isn't spoken everywhere in Canada, but still...
