Great night overall musically. Only complaint was how crowded the main floor was. There was definitely no room to move or dance until it cleared out a lil after 4.
btw, anyone have an ID for the track zabs dropped with the vocals "the sun is shining"?
i cant even imagine how this song sounded on that system and im going insane lookin for it. can someone please help me out
Crazy effin track... I think that's Zabs though, not Deadmau5, let's see if Zabs can ID it, I remember rocking out to that, great tune!

actually... its not a tune.. per say.... i do quite a bit of some kinda impromptu live sequencing every other track or so... using the Monome 256 and a shitload of oneshots / loops / efx made beforehand...
so i use this 256 with some custom software my studio m8 (Steve Duda / BSOD) wrote... and just bust out some kinda live jam with it inbetween tracks... can also grab bits n pieces of other tracks and throw it in... which explains why you sometimes hear a track you know.. but its not "quite" the track you know as i usually end up resequencing it n shit...
which i love to fuckin do by the way... but its really hard to integrate that kinda tech with the progressive stuff im generally known for... which is kinda of a bummer.. but still fun all the same.. just wish my sets could be more techno and live then A/B ing the "hits"
but! if i've learned one thing so far, its you cant please everyone!

Sounds like the rodent man ripped it for NYC......and you can always count on Zabs to bring it. He might not play what everybody prefers to listen to in the club (I happen to really enjoy his sets) but you have to give it to him......he sets the bar technical wise.....and that's nothing short of a fucking genius on the CDJs. As much as I dislike Pacha I really wish I could have made it out for this......but with all the bad weather I've been working overtime all weekend (7am-11pm.) There is always next time though.....glad everybody had a good time! Now lets see some PICS!!!
