And as far as your mention of earthquakes, most articles I've read on the recent England quake have said it's pretty much par for the course as far as how often a "fairly large" one occurs. Nothing apocalyptic about that, either.

I'de be surprised if geologist came out saying there were more frequent earthquakes or more powerful ones are being measured.

Well, I can't say there are more earthquakes simply because I feel I am hearing more and more about earthquakes. That would not make it so. I can only justify my feeling if there is a measured increase in earthquake activity around the globe. Stuff like the 2004 Asian tsunami freaks me out a little. But even still, if all these things were documented by science, that still would not prove any of the mystical interpretations of the end of the world, because these predictions are not based in science. But for me, someone who believes in faith along with science, it gives me the spooks.

Well stop for a second, take a chill pill, and breathe. It's not going to happen, and may God strike me down right now if I'm wrong.
