When I was there 4 years ago they had one on the Keele campus. I specifically remember getting an orientation (in my first year, Sept 2002)and being told it was the womens only gym on campus. Maybe they removed it? I assumed it would still be there.
I have no problem with a womens only gym based on the reasoning: they get harassed in that environment, by men.

You may not be a lawyer, but your reasoning sounds good to me.
What I am saying, is that I understand both sides of the argument, and would have sided with Harvard whether they implemented the policy or not.
