generally, I'd equate nazism as fascism + racism
fascism at its core ideology is ultra nationalistic, but not racist. (well, in most cases) |
While Fascism and Nazism share many things: corportist economy, strong social wellfare systems, strong central government, etc. there are many things they do not share. Racism, cultism and eugenics are unique to Nazism. I would also disagree with you that fascism is "ultra nationalistic." Nazism was definately ultra nationalistic, as was the Spanish and Italian fascist parties; however, the nationalistic bent was not so important with the British Union of Fascists or the Greek version of fascism. Moreover, most modern fascist movements don't have much of a nationalistic component... in fact, I would argue that the most successful modern fascist organisation is the EU, which is most certainly pan-national.
