Sony has paid out WAYY more money to more companies than that. So your fact is bullshit. |
then why don't you tell me how much and we can settle this?
| quote: | | That fact isn't a fact either, since actually no studios are supporting HD DVD now. Why? Refer to the note in fact 1. |
Well, that's a good thing, ain't it?
| quote: | If that does happen (which it wont), PS3 wouldn't read it.
Infact, all early adopters of bluray are screwed, as their players won't read newer discs. Sony's response is they took a risk being an early adopter. (Bluray isn't a finalised format yet.) |
Is there any proof of that?
| quote: | | that's actually not a fact but personal opinion. |
It could be, or the fack that Sony tacked Quality AND quantity.
| quote: | | from Playstation magazine? .... |
Yes, I've been reading them since 2002. Isn't there an Xbox magazine? I wonder why.......
| quote: | | GTA series actually originally came from PC. Sony did have an exclusive deal, because they're anti-competitive. (Want more proof of anti-competitiveness? In Australia, retailers were given incentive to resell only bluray products, BUT they had to be exclusively bluray - weren't allowed to sell HD-DVD players/movies. |
I know that. My sister's friend's brother had the original GTA (I played it on the PS1 as well from a friend). I was sayin that the Playstation had GTA on it first compared to other consoles, then when the Xbox came out, they stuck it on that too (the original Xbox was crap too xompared to the PS2. "Too little games, too many shooters, too F'n green"). Yes, it could be to make more money, but that makes the games drift off into other genres that lack the features of other consoles, and with the larger amount of space on the blu-ray than hd-dvd, games had to be brought down onto HD-DVD's level on other consoles just to make it fair for everyone. Hell, GTA4 could be bigger/have more missions etc if HD-DVD wasn't in the way. This is why blu-ray has such good games (refer to 'fact' 5)
| quote: | | Admittedly I'm not sure about worldwide stats, but PS2 was out sold by Nintendo DS, Nintendo WII, XBOX 360 in 2007. |
According to Good Game, the DS was the highest-selling console, with the PS2 coming second, then the wii at third. I think their facts would be right considering their stories determine the trust in a company's console. This is unusual for the PS2 to be the second-highest, but it's not a surprise if that would be because people were buying PS3's and trading their PS2's in for it.
| quote: | | bluray profile 2.0... web content. so WTF |
Sorry, I don't know what the hell your talking about, but the fact remains, Microsoft only confuses buyers into downloading and stuff. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion has loads of content for the 360, but most of it's un-needed and could only cause the game to crash. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I've heard loads of stories about people having to get new 360's because it was overheating. lol, what's the point? My ps3 hasn't overheated since I got it in November. There are 1 or 2 jitters here and there but nothing a good reboot can't handle.
| quote: | | go learn and read up on sony. already mentioned their anti-competitive practices. Heard of sony rootkit? If not, in short, don't put a Sony Music CD in your pc, unless you want sony spy software installed unknowingly into the background of your pc. There's more.. but meh. |
And what's that got to do with the PS3?
| quote: | | no you say "FACT" "FACT" "FACT" for great über waffles! |
For great über humor, actually
