lol, it, along with Love, are the two most music driven clubs in NYC. It's no surprise that they're willing to let a few people who buy bottles in when the club's packed, and that's the issue, it's always packed. That's why you buy tickets in advance. If you don't, and you don't know someone or want to spend a small fortune, you're not usually getting in. When there are 300 music driven fans inside the club and only 15-20 more spaces left, who would you let in? Are those 15-20 "music people" going to help the 300 who are like them? Or would you reserve those spaces for friends of the DJ and staff and those who are spending $200/person on liquor?
There's a reason that Cielo is so highly regarded in the international club community, as opposed to most other clubs in NYC. DJs are willing to play at a discount at Cielo because it has such a great crowd. When you look at the horrendous crowds full of crackheads and guidos of clubs like Pacha with that never happening at Cielo, it's hilarious that you'd even mention Pacha in the same post.
