I am the opposite of what one would call a picky eater, but onions are the only exception... they are the one thing I will not put in my mouth.

Holler the lettuce and tomato though ... I'm thinking some kind of sour cream-ish type thing too... I can't explain what it is in english... close to tzaziki sauce I suppose.

aaaaaaaaaaand now I have to go eat something

you can add:
Kajmak (kaymak) - looks like cream cheese but much better!
and/or
Ajvar (Ayvar) - vegetable spread made of eggplants, red bell peppers... comes mild or hot


everything else will kill the experience

Being brown and eating brown food almost everyday.....onions arent alien stuff for me but in the pic above its just onions and kebob thingy......There has to be other stuff besides onions.....Its too much onions even for Baldjinder.

lol ya kajmak is the best.

i dont know who else makes it, but you basically boil milk (100% unpasturized - direct from the cows) and when that thick mushy layer forms on top, you take it off and put in a container. you repeat the process but with another pot of milk, cuz the amount you get from one is very little, and you want alot!
then you cool it all in the fridge and it becomes a paste, like butter only much harder. it tastes amazing esp when you put on hot stuff like hamburger so it melts..
damn i miss it

its expensive too cuz mostly the village people make it and theres less and less village people in serbia
i remember paying 40 dinars (~75cents) for just one spoon full last summer
all other toppings they offer for free in the hamburger

When endless_summer introduced me to Cevapi last year, it was with kajmak. It tasted like tsaziki except without the cucumber and dill.

When I bought a large frozen box to take home after a a cultural grocery shopping spree, it's the only close thing I could get up here in Aurora. (I know, shu-up, blasphemy, I KNOW!)
