and I don't mean that in a cynical sense.

Yeah I still feel young being 25. My life is exciting and the risks I have taken have been rewarding.

I'm not disappointed in what I did ... I am more disappointed of what I didn't do. Need to be more outgoing and take more risks ...

Ya, but still at 21 you still live in Alice in Wonderland world.. you need to be 26-28 atleast to come out of your protected cocoon and realise life is not that beatiful as you thought it to be when you were 16 or 21..

You are more disappointed of what you didn't do.. so will he.. point is at 28 he will be disappointed. At 28 he wont make thread that he is 28, but instead make thread about he wish he was 16 or 21 once again.

meh, everyone says that.

The first 21 years of my life were pretty shitty, and then it's been constantly uphill ever since. I've been happier in the last few years than I had ever been before.

You had a 'troubled chilhood' ...its mathetically less.. like 40% of people have that... rest have normal life. So taking rest 60% we make threads and generalise life in general.

I didn't have a tortured childhood; it was all very pleasant and apart from moving a lot, being confused about various things, it was still overall good.

But at the same time I feel like I didn't fully enjoy my youth as if it had been stolen from me. I had so many responsibilities early on and I an only help but focus on the times I lost because of the other things I was busy with ( I did a lot of event organization stuff; sound work etc .... "grow up stuff " ).

Now that I went back to school at 25 I feel like I am living this part of my life I never previously fulfilled.

Sure it can be uphill if you want it to be. Using the word downhill wasn't the most appropriate as I believe too often the focus is set on the fact you have to be an adult, pay the bills, live your life and define who and what and why.

I'm pretty sure my 21st birthday was pretty fun, I don't know for sure though because I have no memory of anything that happened after 7 pm though

Yet another case of troubled childhood.. no matter how much you try to convince yourself and run away from it.
