got my wii online now, cannot wait to play Ben, LeeAnn & Others at mario kart, the online play is lovely & smooth and everything you need it to be

I am slowly being convinced to buy it, especially at £80. I will get it only on 10th of May so till then, keep reminding me why I should or shouldn't get it.

My brother has one and i think its great. Wii sports and mario galaxy are worth buying one for on their own. but i spend most the time playing guitar hero on it. I expect mario cart will be good but i haven't had a chance to play on it yet.

p.s. if you dont like it you will get more than £80 for it on ebay so you cant go wrong.

As far as I remember, Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Link's Crossbow Training are all considered to be FPSs.

Functions as you'd imagine. Movement is done with the nunchuck. Point and click (B) with the Wiimote.

Is it a good price?

Definitely worth it, it's the most fun I'm having with a next gen console so far...

Must-get games:
-Super Smash Bros Brawl (obviously)
-Super Mario Galaxy
-Zelda: Twilight Princess
-Kororinpa: Marble Mania
-Zak and Wiki

Recommended, with some hesitation (might want to rent first):
-Metroid Prime 3
-Super Paper Mario
-No More Heroes

Coming soon, that look good:
-Wii Fit
-Super Mario Kart
-Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Wii
-Fragile

The best feature for me would undoubtedly be the Virtual Console... great way to legally play some excellent classic games, including a few that have went unreleased in the US till now (Sin and Punishment and Alien Soldier, both of which are stunning).

I also feel that the Wii is gonna get the bulk of support from game developers in the future, due to the magnitude of sales the system is racking up. So expect to see lots of amazing games, a lot of surprises (I'm hearing strong rumors of a Kid Icarus sequel), and just hopefully, games that take even further advantage of the Wiimote and Balance Board.
