that zen comes in sizes of up to 32gb, and still sports an expansion slot using SDHC, which today, the largest available size is 16gb (expect 32gb to be available by the end of the year). so really, you *can* go up to 64gb of storage, just not yet (though, thats when its packed, this doesnt include other SD cards one may havine lying around)
The zen pisses all over the ipod when it comes to features and its still smaller. It plays back divx/xvid natively without the need for converting videos to h.264, radio, voice recorder....
the only thing i dont like about it, as i also dont like this about nearly every other player (except for iAudio and iRiver) is that it doesnt fast forward any faster than about 15-30 seconds per second of fast forwarding, this makes it very annoying listening to livesets that last more than 30 minutes. The ipods scroll wheel is best in this regards, as it allows you direct access to a particular point of an mp3 at any time. iRivers and iAudio do, however, allow you to scroll through tracks at various speeds; 2X, 4X, 8X and 16X which is extremely fast and does the job fine.
If it had that feature, I think id be sold.
Right now, Im waiting on the iRiver e100 revision which is a very similar player to the creative zen:

however iriver is pulling it from shelves and will offer an updated version of it sometime in the next few months.
ps. that iriver does have the 'super' fast forwarding, as well as many other goodies including a microSD slot.
