Let me ask you this - where would you rather be tried for anything you may be accused of? Which judicial system are you less afraid of?

PS no, I don't wish upon you or any member here to spend anytime in any jail around the world.

There is no point in answering that because you want me to say America.

Though the truth is neither.

They both have horrible prisons.

I just want to point out that nowhere in that article does it say that the Iranian state is implicated in those murders. It says a few Iranian citizens are there... but that's hardly an intentional policy instituted by the Iranian government, is it?

The article clearly states that Iran is the one funding the militias responsible for the rapes.

In other news, I shit you not, Iran is seriously considering a ban on ties! Claiming that it's part of the Western virus that is trying to infect Iran.

PS I'm all for blaming Iran on all of the world's problems as Iran has been blaming everything on America. Fight fire with fire and take down the religious bastards in control of Iran.

Explain to me how a country choosing to be a socialist state is a threat to American national security? Additionally, Iran was a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC in 1952! They weren't a communist government.
The "domino theory" you just used as an argument is a total farce. Vietnam became communist. But guess what? There was no trickle down "domino effect" of Asian countries becoming communist. You make a flawed assertion in stating Iran is a threat the national security of America. With what CHRles? You won't answer that? Missiles? What?

Apparently, you've never heard of the Iranian Reformist Movement...

The Iranian reform movement (Persian:اصلاح طلبان, or the Reforms Front (Persian: جبههٔ اصلاحات also known as 2nd of Khordad Front (Persian: جبهه دوم خرداد which refers to the date of President Mohammad Khatami's 1997 landslide election victory in the Iranian Calendar) is a political movement by a group of political parties and organizations in Iran who supported Mohammad Khatami's plans to change the system to include more freedom and democracy. Iran's "reform era" is sometimes said to have lasted from 1997-2005 - the length of President Khatami's two terms in office.

Don't you just love it when Krypton gets all cryptically confused?

Come back when you have something solid to say. Even during Khatami's regime freedom of speech was limited, although Khatami was a MUCH smarter/better president then the current moneky Iran's got in office.

So you're pissy because Iran isn't a liberal western democracy? What's it to you, you who have probably never even been to Middle East? You make it seem like Iran is a Stalinist dictatorship. Get real dude..

Speaking of going to the Middle East, has anyone checked out wikitravel? Pretty amusing to read the reviews of places like Yemen, or especially Baghdad:

Iran Busts CIA-Backed Terror Group

TEHRAN - The Intelligence Ministry on Saturday released details of the detection and dismantling of a terrorist network affiliated to the United States.

In a coordinated operation on May 7, Iranian intelligence agents arrested the terrorist network’s members, who were identified in Fars, Khuzestan, Gilan, West Azerbaijan, and Tehran provinces, the Intelligence Ministry announcement said.

The group’s plans were devised in the U.S., according to the announcement, which added that they had planned to carry out a number of acts such as bombing scientific, educational, and religious centers, shooting people, and making public places in various cities insecure.

One of the terrorists was killed in the operation, but the rest are in detention, the Intelligence Ministry said, adding that the group’s main objective was to create fear among the people.

The United States Central Intelligence Agency comprehensively supported the terrorist group by arming it, training its members, and sponsoring its inhumane activities in Iran, the Intelligence Ministry stated.

The terrorists had maps, films, pictures, and sketches of important and sensitive sites in various cities in their possession when they were arrested.

They also had a large number of weapons and ammunition and a great deal of highly explosive chemicals and cyanide.

The blast at a religious center in Shiraz last month was carried out by this group, and it also had plans to carry out similar attacks on the Tehran International Book Fair, the Russian Consulate in Gilan Province, oil pipelines in southern Iran, and other targets, the communiqué stated.

Thirteen people were killed and over 190 others wounded in a bombing carried out on April 12 at the Rahpuyan-e Vessal religious center, which is part of the Seyyed-ul-Shohada Mosque complex, located in a residential area of Shiraz.

Well looks like Bush&Cheney are really trying to start another war AGAIN.

Good Job U.S.A.
