P.S. Rach, I don't agree. I think hate towards a person/people can exist without jealousy/envy, and free of it being in retaliation (though, again, I would agree that those reasons are the majority).

Hm...lol that's tough. I dunno...I'm just thinking along the lines of clashing personalities and the fact that no, we CAN'T all get along. Speaking personally, I sure as hell don't like everybody I meet - but perhaps hate is too strong a word to use in that instance.

Personality clashes - I would class that as retaliation. I don't know I clash with someone until they say something to PISS ME OFF!
