heh

I'm sure we all have better things to do than post here. But if we like that... :-)

Let's not be jealous at those guys, really, I've seen way more interesting people here than among the famous people. The fact some of them literally suck out every single penny left on this scene is another debate. Besides that, would you personally dream of a life in which you're never home, you never get to see your family?? What about your boy/girlfriend then?? Is this what everyone is dreaming of on this scene?

One more thing to keep in mind, fame knows its ups and downs. If ppl do it just for fame, well they have a serious problem as they're not gonna be able to deal with down periods.

Laurent

Gotta LUV IT!! So many jaded folk here too!! Ahhh, aren't they everywhere, in every scene: all of them sing the praises of yester year, talk trash about the one making a good living off of the music we all enjoy. Diginut has a point: dj's are human jukeboxes, if and only if they beatmatch. When the synths and samplers come out, then there is more artistry, more actual musical performance.

In defense of AVB, his shows are full of live performances, with the vocalists singing their part on stage, reducing Armin to merely a person who cues up the songs. I don't care what people say, and I haven't cared for years: I love vocal dance music, from garage to jump up to house to trance! The "purists" that talk trash about vocal dance music, saying its too pop, too "comercialized" are being kill joys! AVB produces some great songs with talented singers, and I would pay the money to see the vocalist perform live! As for the posing and such, who cares! Most big djs are boring to watch anyways (execept for Above and Beyond) if they are house djs. I go for the party, for the people, and not to idle worship but speaker worship, dance, and mingle!

Trance is always evolving, so don't get stuck in an era that is long past.
