but if this war wouldnt have happened then atleast something positive or good might have happened atleast they would have had proper schools or health systems and other Govt institutions, which would have helped it come out of the drug use as a cure for all.......But instead has sent them back t0 stone age. |
I have never been to Afghanistan, but I have been to Morocco, and that was a time warp in itself, and that's probably a relatively 'modern' arab country. Yes, it has its modern areas, but 45% illiteracy, plenty of homes made of mud & clay with no electricity or running water, towns with dirt roads, thousands of people who just live in the desert, hundread of 'phone centers' where u can use pay phones... I can GU-RAN-TEE you Afghanistan was in the dark ages LONG before this war began.
Did America do damage to Afghanistan? Of course. Are they the root of their opiumm problem? Hell no.

. when there is no proper way of life and no police, goverment,or ethics just bunch of guys wearing turbans running around carrying guns....How do you think a society like that would come out of its bad habits and go towards the good.

lol. no, you're right, my pea brain has a tough time putting that together. real complex. nice you could excerpt that from my texts somehow. you are no doubt an epic and cunning internet linguist. and of course the taliban were moving things in the right direction. I loved the way they kept women from schools, and barred even the educated ones from work. I also loved the move to sharia law. even more so i loved reading my morning paper to learn how sports had been dismantled, but the best was waking up and reading how they stoned a women to death in public at the Kabul soccer stadium for cheating on her husband (i'm sure she had a fair say to that). no you're right. moving in the right direction before Bush for sure.
but dicktouch, i think the thread again was about opium use? and last i checked the taliban had no problem w/ the crop, and no wish to eradicate it.
i don't know where you lived (curious though), but I'll bet my smaller nut your friends hated gora americans. And I doubt you spent your christmas hollidays in an afghan refugee camp. I don't understand how you could write so much and say so little. I only asked one question, and i didn't see you answer it... HOW did BUSH mess afghanistan up? I suppose the taliban should have stayed on? Just defend the first argument you made in the thread pls, and stop being a motard.
