Homosapiens was the track I was most looking forward too. I was randomly browsing James Holden videos on YouTube one day and came across him dropping Invitation and since then October has been catching my eye. The streak of highs in Homosapiens is great.

Maria, no words needed, always fun to listen to.

Oddly, (not oddly as in I never agree with Az, in fact I find Az's music taste to be most excellent) I agree with Az. I felt like the mix never had that "oh fuck" moment even though the track selection wasn't all that bad.

Regardless, I enjoyed it, and that's the primary objective.

thanks for checking it out!

i finally got around to listening to the whole thing at work last week. i need to give it a few more listens (in the car instead of just having it on as background music) before i can really give you a proper review... but overall i can say that i definitely enjoyed it and there were a few really gorgeous stand out tracks, and the mixing was solid as always.

God damn, this is gorgeous. The only word that comes to mind is "organic." Really loved your sound and wish I could hear this on a proper system.

Thanks for sharing!

ps. I prefer pedestrian.

hot damn, this mix rules! you really have a sound all your own, very unique, a great mix of genres here and it all flows quite nicely; spot on mixing to boot. i loved the last third of this, some fantastic tracks there. especially that last one, what a closer!

what you said about the lack of flow and all the changes in style - that threw me for a little bit at first, I'm not used to that, but it really grew on me. this really held my interest throughout and i was real excited to see where it would go. you've got some incredible track selection and programming going on here.

awesome, awesome stuff, how on earth did i miss your mixes on here before? really enjoyed this.

"Ribbons" really encompassed your sound to me. Kieran's a genius just as genius as your last 3 tracks seep together like dreams.

NICE! Thanks for checking the mix out. Glad you enjoyed it! Also when I describe my music to people I usually use the following phrase: Moody, Organic, and Emotional Tech
So in essence you hit the nail on the head as far as my perception of it.

Hell yeah, honestly so glad you liked it so much. I have a lot of influences that I take stuff away from but in the end over the last few years I have found a taste for exactly what type of music fits me. I think some were throughout that time I found a song of my own. The only problem with that is it’s so hard for me to find tracks that really showcase the type of sounds I would like which is why I have been producing more, just wish I had more time for it.

As far as the way I play in regards to sudden changes and what some might appear to be a lack of flow. It’s just something that I started doing about three/four years back. Some people are throw off for it and never get it. But most people seem to really enjoy it. The mix is exactly how I play minus playing a few tracks in that amount of time. I can really enjoy the flow of DJ’s when I’m out and its something I look for. But for me I have always done it a bit different. Thanks for taking the time to listen, I greatly appreciate and glad you enjoyed it so much!

That is my favorite track on the entire mix and the last three are my top of the mix personally as well. I would love to play more of that style but it’s not only hard to find tracks like that but also I have found a lot of people don’t get that type of sound. It’s a little bit harder to dance to although I personally have no problem dancing to it. So I tried to keep that style to a minimum on the mix and saved it for the end. I figured if people got that far in the mix that they would understand it bit more.
