in all seriousness
Instead of all of this infighting with in the party, she should come out and support the person that was chosen. That is all I want....
We cannot afford to lose this country to another GOP led white house....
we can't..
give her a high position on the Cabinet, she touts health care, give her a Czar position or something on those lines. |
Well, this post makes you seem much more reasonable Believe it or not, I agree... If she draws this out more than a week, I'll be the first person to say "enough's enough". But, like many people have said (even under Obama's campaign), a political campaign is not like an on/off switch. I think Terry McCauliffe's appearance last night on the Daily Show was a joke, he needs to shut the fuck up, but I think she will officially step down sometime from now until next Wednesday. If not, then she'll lose a lot of respect from me, and I'm sure a lot more people (not just Obama-supporters, but her own).... We'll see..

Yale Law's acceptance rate is 6.9%, Harvard Business School is 14%. It is definitely the most difficult law school in the world to get into. And take W. with a grain of salt - his daddy was a huge oil tycoon by then. Hillary's father owned a small textile business. I think one achievement is sliiiiiiiiiightly more impressive than the other. |
also, yale is consistently considered the the best university in the world (along with havard and princeton) - and yale law school is yale's most selective school. I would say based on those two facts that yale law school is almost certainly the most difficult school in the world to get into.
as to havard, it's MBA class is 5 times larger than yale's LS class. also, most people denied acceptance into yale law school are students that end up going to other top tier law schools (nyu, columbia, harvard, etc...). That number is not being held down too much by grossly unqualified candidates.
Shakka - in any event, you may have missed my point. i wasn't comparing hillary with anyone. Capitalizt said hillary had no accomplishments without being tied to the former president - i was just arguing that he was extremely wrong. hillary has lived a very accomplished life even without bill.

I don't know what you're getting at. "The Clintons" was not a household name when she applied to Yale. What's your point? It's a clear fact that the Bushes were well-known and got little Georgie into Harvard. Neither Bill or Hillary were from such a family... Bill was poor, and Hillary was from a humdrum middle class family...
What, are you gonna start downplaying Bill's Rhodes Scholarship now? I don't get your point? |
furthermore hillary wasn't a clinton when she applied to yale, she was still just rodham - she met bill at yale.
