I am using jasc animation shop 3

So i think that should be ok. Sorry explain about the frame rate. Do you mean how long it holds for? It is currently at 1sec a frame

i haven't used that software before, but if you decrease the frame rate (sate 2 sec a frame) the animation will go slower, therefore makeing the text appear longer before changing, and not increasing the file size...hope that made sense...
