where do i start...

1. 10 ms delay is audible on fast attack sounds like drums and percussion and on timing critical sounds like bass (changes the "feel"). on average leads and pads it's not.

2. the virus Ti works with FLStudio if you know how to set it up. The lag can easily be fixed in the fruity mixer. Just open the fruity template project from Access (C:\Program Files\Access Music\Virus TI\Documentation\Tutorials\Imageline FL Studio) and go from there. Same can be done with older nonVST versions of the virus, using midi out plugin and the built in delay in the fruity mixer.

3. Make your life easier and try Samplerobot. It makes sampling hardware synths a breeze.

4. for added "motion" of the sound little can be done while sampling without making the notes too unbalanced. But since this will be loaded into reason's sampler you can use the sampler's lfo's and filters. Using the combinator might be even better, making the presets come with effects. You could try using the virus chorus/flanger/phaser but the results could vary greatly per note.
