what I was trying to say is that I find nothing special about someone who has not accomplished, nor aims to accomplish anything, aside from traveling the world and making an idiot of himself.

I don't see how sticking a sappy song on top of crappy dancing redeems this pointless and quite stupid self-important crock of shit.

not angry. completely zen.

WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT?

He is not a good will ambasador
he does not bring food to the starved
he does not cure the disease
he does not help improve most of these people's lives (aside from few minutes of jumping around with an idiot)

WHAT IS THE POINT, EINSTEIN?

the point, if you needed it to be spelled out to you, is not so much about him but the amazingly interesting locations depicted in his videos. it's his goofy dancing ties everything together.

There is nothing 'special' about it. Dance is pretty much a universal language and it bonds people no matter of what race you hail from. It makes people happy. Maybe his aim is to travel around the world and bring people together through dance? You don't know, I don't know..no one may ever know . I don't think the music has much to do with it. He could have stuck any song on it and it still would have had the same affect whether is made you cringe or smile.

HAHAHA! That video has the most simple concept to it. I think you need to reverse your little thought process.

Well, from his website, he said his first trip *that was funded by himself* wasn't all that expensive. I can't remember the actual figure, but I remember thinking that it was a low enough amount that I would be able to pull it together.

oh well, I guess it gives him purpose in life instead of wondering the streets, mumbling to himself. Must be nice not having a "real" job like us, mere mortals. The cynic in me is not impressed and is yelling "get a job, loser!"

He graduated from university and was a video game programmer or designer before he went on a trip around the world with his own money. He then posted his vid on YouTube... which got very popular, and subsequently got sponsored to go and travel the world again.

Why does he have to be doing something particularly special to make it important, or make what he is doing relevant? He is just an average American traveling the world. The reason why it is so touching is because of the fact the people everywhere come together through the universal language of dance. It removes the "differences" between us and everyone else and makes us all "people that like to dance". THAT is what makes this video "feel-good".

You're just a moron.

Not often I agree with Theresa, but she's right. aNYthing, stop being such a joyless old windbag. Perhaps you'd only appreciate it if he went to all those countries curing AIDS while he danced...It's just a bit of fun for christs sake.
