Most German goals were incredible.
Germany also has to deal with the piece of shit goalie called Leman.

Like Germany has a chance... Even without Villa, having Fabregas in his stead creates a style of play that cannot be matched. Germany's play should be very similar to Russia's, barring a little more energy in attack and the potentially dangerous use of set pieces.

My guess: 1-3.

Germany all over this, Spain will choke and can't cope with pressure.

Pressure is what drives Germany, Portugay's game was a fine example.

Hopefully no fagotery from Spanish's side.

Ask yourself when Germany achieved something the last time (hint, sometime around the middle of the 90s). Look objectively at the style of football played by the German aquad since the 2005- Klinsmann era.

Unlike 2002 (which was a crazy, unattractive tournament as a whole), this time the Germans actually delivered and rightfully qualified for the battle for Europe's crown. Already in 2006 did they play fresh, dynamic football, and besides some backslides, they'e again performing convincingly and never really boringly. Some of the players I still can't stand, but I started to shift from conditioned anti-Germans sentiments to objective judgement of their football.

What I wanna say by all this babbling is: May the better team win. For me it's totally 50:50.

Germany's record of the quarter-final and semi-final added: 17 shots total, 8 of those shots on goal, 6 goals.

That's a great finishing ratio, and some of those shots came from nice plays, but it's simply not humanly possible to keep such a ratio on average. It's plain damn luck.

The german 2006 side played better than this one. As for the late 80s/early 90s squads, they were brilliant tactically and had many of the best players in the world. I can't quite say the same for this team.

This German defense certainly looks more suspect than years past. Everything else is pretty much in line. And I still don't know if I can trust Lehmann in net.

If Cesc is as effective as he was against the Russians I'd say Spain have this in the bag.

Seriously I would have saved those two goals Turkey had.

Not over a long time period, but in a fairly short period centred around a specific occurence (the Euros) it can easily just be the form of the team. Most teams and players go through periods where everything goes right for them, and it isn't simply luck.
