Their early releases on the asot label are excellent! Whirlpool - Under The Sun is a fucking classic.
They are great producers but they havent done anything good in years

Man, i always hated Filo and Peri, i even remember a time when i used to bash their records here on TA and receive immense amounts of flaming in return (lol). Truth is, that whilst most of the records were generic as hell, there is this one tune i used to like, the b-side from their 2004 release I:95, "Spectrum"...

Whilst it sounds like a typical generic melodic trancer today, i believe that back in 2004 "spectrum" was one of those records that marked the small 2004-2005 comeback of instrumental trance (which was relatively small in the previous 2001-2003 "progressive" years).

Basshunter - Now You're Gone was the UK number 1 for like a month, that alone shows what a useless bunch of prats the general public are.

For Filo & Peri it's not about selling millions of records, but rather spreading dance music to the masses; thus making it mainstream.

Sure, they're just trance volunteers - evangelizing trance.
Completely PRO BONO.

But going mainstream doesn't mean the music has to be compromised.

Rly? You must have went to "Tiesto's school of trance".

I predict this album will be shit. Anthem was terrible, I never want to hear it again. Filo & Peri need to stop this nonsense and go back to producing simple but excellent tracks such as Spectrum and Taxi-Distance.

To hear those tracks and then hear the likes of Anthem is honestly upsetting. To hear how what once was talent, now producing garbage.

It's not uncommon to have dance stations in various cities in the US, depending upon which city, I suppose.

There's one here in San Francisco, and granted, they play the poppiest of the pop, but it's still a qualifiable dance station.

I figured there was one in SF

The greatest dance station ever created used to reside in Los Angeles, and I'm talking DEDICATED station...not this dance programming after 10pm shit.

RIP Groove Radio.

Never mind any criticism for anthem or any of their other recent crap tracks. Inside the interview they clearly admit... if we can make money and get girls making pop-trance, we will.

Maybe the album should come with an idiots' guide to selling out?
